Grievance mechanism
A Grievance mechanism has been put in place by the Project in early 2015 to receive and facilitate resolution of the affected communities’ concerns and complaints about the Project’s environmental and social performance.
The Nachtigal amont project’s grievance mechanism was designed to address concerns promptly, to be understandable and transparent, culturally appropriate and readily accessible to all segments of the affected communities, and at no cost to communities and without retribution. The mechanism does not impede access to judicial and administrative remedies.
